Who told you it was all about spending money to win the champions league.

It isn't about the money, it's about getting good enough players, the best players available. Unless they're out of contract that usually means high prices. We won't be able to compete successfully to win the CL unless we sign better players now we've lost most of our legends to age.

Don’t you think we have the team to win it this season, with everyone fit ?

then we will not progress sadly. The game has changed so much. If you want top players then you have to pay for them now
Is that a change from 2 years ago ? 3, 5 10 ? Been the case for a very long time, though it’s never meant you can’t get players that become top players. Just as top teams never have top players in every position.
Look at Liverpools front 3 none came as top players and I would still have Jesus over Fiminho. Was Gnabry on anyones wish list when he went to Bayern.

Or have better talent identification, recruitment and a coach who can develop the gems you discover.

Looking at Dortmund with Haaland, Gio Reyna - who was a part of a CFG club for years ffs - our management can only see a player when they’re In the £50+ bracket; our owners are having their pants pulled down by the three amigos.

Rubbish. We had already equally talented players in the academy already.

We wont go for him because:
1.) he is too expensive for us and we prefer to spend same amount divided on two players who wont be good enough for improving the starting eleven
2.) the pride we have as we are scared to deal with Raiola

One thing is sure, he wont be at Dortmund too long, can see Bayern going for him and replacing Lewandowski for next 7-8 years with him scoring 25 every season in league and many more in cups...

Also I hope does not end up at one of our PL rivals.

Serious question Ray, why do you think that Haaland is overhyped when he scores consistently for one of Germany’s top 3
Same with Werner the rest of their game needs work and would take to time to develop. Its not just about scoring goals.
