Mini Raiola will do everything possible for Erling Haaland to play for Barça. His signing is "affordable", as reported by Oriol Domenech

Barca couldn’t pay €20m for Garcia 6 months ago and have instead whittled it down to €5m or for free. It’s almost like there’s some elections happening.

I’d lean closer to couldn’t than wouldn’t, mate, considering the financial mess the club is in. If only they had a player on €1m a week who wanted to leave

The Garcia story was no question wouldn't, particularly when we know Soriano refused to sell

Not to forget that until quite late in the summer the club pursued Lautaro and his 110M price tag (Haaland's is purportedly to be 75M this summer) despite their financial state

Haaland link is just that, a rumour. A lot of factors in this adds up in terms of the principals involved (I believe all of this is linked to Laporta) although I remain skeptical, less about the financial aspects to make it happen but more on the desires of the player (I have read he has preferences for United & RM)

Summer transfer window is 6 months from now and we're only in January - going to be a lot of rumours until then. The good is that Domenech is reliable, same bloke who broke the Garcia link in July - he does not spout BS

If you think Barca have €100m+ to spend on a player right now then good luck to you. You’re bargain hunting and will end up with a cut-price Depay up top

Mate you just don’t get it, you’ve got got no cash. Franny Lee had more cash from his toilet rolls than your club has in their premium bonds. You won’t be getting Martinez and you certainly won’t be getting Haaland. You’ve ended up with our fifth choice Centre back

We know with these clubs though they pay with promises and payment over years or just pay the agent or promise the agent players.

He has never been my preferred option as a #9 but still easy to be seduced by his ability to find the back of the net

Agree with you though, he is not a Barça profile player
Got the feeling hes the kind of player who will do well wherever he goes.

Clubs will be reluctant to accept those promises given their current state, surely? In my opinion anyway

It's odd that he's not that good in the air despite his height. It seems to be one of his few weaknesses. I haven't seen him score many headers, if any at all really.
Yeah, heading ability has nothing to do with height really. Just that tall people have a head start, but heading starts in the soles of the boots and is all about what you do in each joint in the movement before heading it.

You could be 5’7” and be the best headerer (headerer?haha) in the world if your technique is good.

Tall kids are normally good at headers because they get a lot of practice, it's easy if you've had a growth spurt and can get to every ball.

Haaland though was short until he was 15 and then grew 20cm/8 inches in 3 years. That's why people who coached him say his technique is so good, he was essentially Phil Foden sized all through youth football and had to play like it, and now he's 6ft 4.
