There must be plenty of players with mega money in the bank, pretty women and sports cars aplenty and a trophy cabinet with no more than district medals from when they were young.
Perhaps this lad will want more, no better place to come than City, here he can all the above and more.

His agent is a major sticking point for me.

He will be wanting new improved contracts every 12 months. And simultaneously pimping him out.

If Pep is happy with him bringing this Baggage.

Then he must be worth the potential aggro.

It be every two years if a players signed a 2 year contract and if the players doing well we will extend it! So don’t be worried about it.

Raiola represents a lot of players and that doesn’t happen with almost none of them. Pogba an exception but I think that comes more from the player than him. Not saying Raiola’s a saint (obviously not), but he’s not different from many agents, including some Portuguese ones

Alfie is his representative,Raiola is just an advisor to the family...Even so,if City felt that dealing with Raiola would be an issue at this stage of the process, they would have already briefed the media through JG,Hirst or Sam,as usual, that they aren't in the running..
At this stage, talks would have already been held with his entourage, and with the way we are run, there's no way,at this stage of the squad planning,we
don't have an clear idea of the finances that would be involved and whether it is viable,or else,we would have already distanced ourselves
Just like Messi, don't think he's made his decision yet as he'll have pick of his clubs but regardless of whether he chooses us or not,we'll be at the table,,the choice is in the hands of the player and nothing the club can do more

End of the day, our owners are shrewd businessmen and generally haven’t made many slip ups when it comes to transfers since they bought the club

If it is in the clubs best interest to secure the services of Haaland then they’ll put something in place to make it happen

People don’t need to necessarily like each other when it comes to making money or gaining trophies

I doubt Mino is a problem at all considering the ‘list of alternatives’ to Haaland includes Lukaku who, as far as I’m aware is another Mino Client

I know people don’t like Mino, but Mino looks after himself and his clients, if there’s the possibility of lining his own pockets somewhere along the line i think both sides will be big enough to suck it up and communicate on a deal

My issue with Any potential deal (and it’s all conjecture from my end)

It seems as if Riola likes to get a few pay days out of his clients — now, considering our trajectory as a club — is there a move after city? Surely, as far as Haaland is concerned coming to City would potentially price him out of a move to another club in the future?

As far as I’m concerned, the only 2 or 3 clubs on a similar or bigger level to us are Real, Barca and Bayern.

Bayern wouldn’t spend the money
Barca have no money
Are Madrid taking him later on if going by reports they’re after Mbappe now?

I guess what I’m trying to say is where does he go? Where does Riola make his money on Haaland after a move to City, But - saying that I can’t think of a stepping stone between Dortmund and a move to a Huge Club, it’s a strange one making such a move so soon from Riolas standpoint

Yes,exactly.
Btw Lukaku split with Raiola two years ago now..Pastorello & Jay-Z's RocNation are his representatives now
Your concerns are valid, but the public notion that he instigates players to want to move every now and then is wrong..
From his list of higher profile clients,
think only Pogba,Mkhitaryan and Donnarruma have been involved in publicly drawn out transfer speculation/sagas,,His other clients like Matuidi,Verratti,Romagnoli have relatively stay put after their first big moves..He'll defend his clients in public and take the backlash in the media whilst still putting their interests first and feel that's why players take to him as they feel they can 'hide' behind him as a father figure as he'll always take the heat and still get the players what they want be it a move or a new contract but he still delivers for them
He simply says and does what his clients want and the money/
commission is just a consequence of his players decisions, and that's his job as a professional,to monetize his job..You don't have to like it but it is what it is
On Haaland,he's outgrown Dortmund and the Bundesliga,in general, and he and his entourage recognise that, and the only next step is Europe's elite,
and with how meticulous and clever they have been in choosing his clubs and in mapping his career path since Molde believe their next choice, which is the only logical choice, can only be City
If Haaland want to move after a few years, that's not Raiola's fault, that's just on Haaland's desire..but still, logically speaking, provided we can continue in our current upward trajectory, and I know there are other factors other than footballing reasons that might influence, don't see why Haaland would want to move abroad ,new improved contract(s) ever so often if he is a success for us,for sure, but leave,no.
Other than Sané,we've shown we simply keep our best players for a long time,so I wouldn't be worried

Absolutely this.

Once he’s here, I’m convinced we can persuade him to part ways with Raiola the same way Lukaku has done, and in fact I think it’s a natural progression
