You are probably right taking everything into consideration. It is grating tho if Dortmund sell him for 80-90 million. He probably made the right call tbh, don't think we were ever as invested in him as we were in Foden and he didn't have as clear a pathway to the team as Foden did with Silva being the age he was. He's done well at Dortmund but I'm still far from convinced he'd be able to nail down a starting spot here, his performances against tougher opposition haven't been too impressive when I've seen him anyway.

Just need 'Madrid Online' to start citing reports from the Daily Mail citing their reports now and we've got the circle.A bit revolutionary, our pep.

Real Madrid 'refuse to enter into bidding war for Haaland this summer'
Erling Haaland has been tipped to dominate world football alongside Kylian Mbappe for years to come, and Madrid - as well as Barcelona, Man United, City, Chelsea and Liverpool - are in for him.www.dailymail.co.uk
Rodwell - £12 million, sold for £10 millionIt’s nothing to do with his quality compared with those players. It’s about wasting money on lesser players.
Everytime we bought the 2nd level players it’s been a waste.
You’re better off not buying anyone.
The list is endless:
Rodwell
Sinclair
Jovetic
Navas
Nolito
Fernando
Garcia
...

Every club gets it wrong from time to time. You would have to say on the whole we have got a lot more right than wrong.Rodwell - £12 million, sold for £10 million
Sinclair - £8 million, sold for £4 million
Jovetic - £23 million, sold for £12 million
Navas - There's no way you can class Navas as a lesser player or a waste of a transfer
Nolito - £14 million, sold for £8 million
Fernando - £12 million, sold for £5 million
Garcia - £16 million, sold for £13 million
Net transfer spend - £33 million spread over 6 players and across 5 seasons, or in other words, 6.6 million wasted per season between 12/13 - 16/17. Truly an extraordinary amount. The latest transfer in that list happened in 16/17, 5 seasons ago. You reckon we have learned from our mistakes?
Exactly. There are very few people who get as many transfers right as Txiki. He's one of the best in the business.Every club gets it wrong from time to time. You would have to say on the whole we have got a lot more right than wrong.

Yeah, I'm at the stage now where I've fuck all emotionally invested in transfers as I just trust Txiki to get enough right.Every club gets it wrong from time to time. You would have to say on the whole we have got a lot more right than wrong.

£8 million plus the 15% sell on, regardless of how he's kicked on it wasn't a bad deal at all.I can see the argument for that. Shame for us he didn’t have more patience.
Premier League, 2 League Cups, Charity Shield. What trophies did we win though?
I know mate (:Premier League, 2 League Cups, Charity Shield.
