If Kane stays where he is and Haaland doesn't come to the premier league we are probably no worse off than where we are now. Probably no other premier team is going to improve up front either.
We will still be one of the top teams in Europe and probably favourites for the Premier league as things stand.
It would be a great test for Pep to take the current team, plus some of the youth players, and get them to attain the levels they are at into next season.
If Kane and Haaland dont sign for a premier league team, I dont think we are any worse off.

If we don’t get Kane I don’t see it as a missed opportunity where as if we don’t get Haaland then I do

I think you are naive if you think fans wouldn’t connect to Kane the second he’s scoring for fun for us. Christ I remember being at Birmingham away on Andy Cole’s debut singing his name after scoring a goal! Football fans are fickle mate.

I wouldn’t not sign Haaland because he may leave, it’s just a counter point to people thinking because of his age we’d get more out of him that Kane. I think you’d get a similar amount of time for both

Kane, for me, is just a different case. He is Mr. Tottenham. He will always be their player, just playing for us because they've been mismanaged. He could never be our guy, I can't separate him from that club. Sure I'd celebrate his goals, but I'm moreso celebrating the goals going in than the player scoring them.

Most top strikers are, however despite that and his ruthlessness he had the most assists last year. It’s making things up because you’re claiming he’s injured which we don’t know, you’re then claiming he picks himself over others like he has a say. I’d imagine if he calls the shots he wouldn’t have got subbed....
He’s not been great for England, sadly nobody has been but I can’t see how many strikers in a team that creates zero would score many. Judge him by his club performances. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone judge anyone we are linked to by how they play for their country. Strange

You have fuck all knowledge about what he’s like as a captain or a leader. Much like me.
A few sound bites of a Amazon documentary or the fact he’s not screaming on the pitch isn’t going to change the fact none of us have a clue about him. A few weeks back our whole starting 11 shit the bed in a CL final. Didn’t see any leadership then from anyone then so please don’t start with that.

Players can have off days, maybe he is injured. Who knows. Foden might have had 10x the game he has but he still looks like a pub player in this England team.
Christ, how many players over the years have we had look shite for England but pretty much undisputed as some of the worlds best in their positions for the 99% rest of their careers, nothings changed.

Any other year I think most of us would be buzzing to get Kane, he's a top striker and will score a ton if goal for us.....however, one of the most prolific youngsters who happens to be a City fan and wants to play at the etihad is possible up for sale, for the right price!

And that's the only thing I have against Kane, sad really, as he's guaranteed to score and will be pretty much perfect.

Something for us ALL to note is, the bosses at City are used to turning down young talents who support their club (most Spanish kids would have loved to play for Barcelona), it probably went on year after year making tough decisions for the strength of the squad. Its maybe something we all need to get used to in the coming years, it's not really a bad thing.....but right at this moment I'll be gutted to see Haaland in a Chelsea shirt.

He hasn’t performed, I don’t think England have but I repeat considering his position he’s reliant on others. I just wouldn’t judge a player on two games for their country. I’d personally judge him on his 166 goals in the prem in 200 and odd games...

Probably not, but Haaland is the only one who could replicate it. I'd much rather sign someone who could give us that same buzz we had when signing Aguero and seeing him first play than someone who will always be a divisive figure that fans will never 100% take to.
