I've said it before and I know I'm in the minority but IMO we're better being patient and waiting for the 'right' guy to come around instead of breaking the bank on him.

His touch has been poor too. Clearly a huge talent but is he as good as some make out… Personally I am not sure as not watched enough of him.

Been thinking the same for a while. We are an incredibly well oiled machine and he may not be the right cog to improve us. On the other hand he could come and absolutely bang them in.

He’s capable, it’s just that Dortmund’s system doesn’t demand it of him. Every game he sits on the shoulder looking for space through the channels or, when facing a deep-set side, looking for the ball with his back to goal.

He’s got great feet and picks up his fair share of assists. He has had a quiet game today though.

I suspect if we do sign him, our own system will be tweaked so we don’t require the conventional ‘false 9’ contribution to our build up play.
