I really don't see RM getting both Mbappe and Haaland, as I believe both would want to be the poster boys of the clubs that they sign for. Also I would factor in that we have Pep, whilst RM have a revolving door, and so who know's what tomorrow brings for them.

I am sure he would have had a decent look around when the Etihad campus when he was over with Dortmund, and let's face it, I am sure they would review the whole infrastructure, although I am slightly biased, I cannot see a club out there that is run as well as our organisation. The worldwide coverage of the CFG, the executives we have in place, even down to the fact that our recently formed US team won the MLS, it's all so impressive.

I think his stock is high at the moment, despite his injury record this season, so Mino and Alf will strike whilst the iron his hot. I feel his logical destiny should be City.

A drop in form for some. Who exactly?
Tbf the false 9 system has been going on for some time, brought us a PL title and a final in the CL.

If we play with a true CF we will soon find out how much better we become. Obviously I hope and expect us to get better.

i'm a fan of the false 9 system but we score less with it, that's really my only gripe. i am of the belief this team will be even better with a striker.

Think we concede less with it too because we have more control, with the right striker I think the team would score a few more but not a great deal more, at best maybe 15 ish per season. The quaestion for me though is would those extra goals be in games where we draw or lose narrowly, so Southampton or the losses to chelsea last season, or would they be goals in games which are already won.
I think as long it's the former then great but think the pool of strikers that fall into that category is very small. Haaland would probably be one though.

At least it allows Foden to play midfield, his best position. Can see a future midfield five of Foden KDB Grealish Palmer and Bernardo. This excites me and if those five can’t feed Haaland with 30 goals a season then I’m a Dutchman.

think we concede less on account of having a better defense imo
 
sadly the player is letting the agent pimp him to anybody with the biggest offer and not football reasons.
if newcastle stay up i can see them paying crazy money to jump the que and the agent making him sign for them

money reason vs football reason winning silverware and medals ? sadly money wins hands down

Newcastle would have to blow through their entire wage space/cap to be in the running.

The first name that jumps to mind is Raheem, although his form has recently improved he has generally been poor since Aguero started spending more and more time out injured.

I am looking forward to seeing Peps new look City team. I’m just a bit curious to see how it’s going to work out. I believe this current City team is exactly how he wants his team to play, complete domination with very little chances conceded. Sacrificing a working system that has dominated for the best part of a year to make space for a 40 goal a season striker is a good dilemma to have.

Unless pep, as always, has another plan to change things up. He knows that through analysis and time any system is worked out and nullified to a certain degree by the top sides so is ever evolving. Things will change again next year, for the better.

New top draw striker or not, but with gives him so many more options.

No chance he goes there.. but if he did choose Newcastle it would say a lot about him and would be enough evidence to say we dodged a bullet
