I don't think it is necessarily the same type of injury, I asked about his injuries the other day. Apparently this season he's had a hip flexor injury, shoulder injury and groin injury? We have a good medical team he would be well looked after and treated here.

I suspect much of it is due to his body size and the probability he is still growing/developing.

The spanish giants do a lot of wishcasting in the press, just trying to make something true by saying it is. Obvs sometimes it is true, but they do the same tactic regardless. Madrid getting haaland and Mbappe in the same summer was always a stretch for me.

Especially considering the demands Pep has, we get a lot of muscle type injuries because of this already.
