One of the responses on there was this below. Turns out 93.20 blue got 2 out of 3 right (Grealish and Pep’s contract extension). That ain’t bad for a supposed WUM!

I'd say it's obvious at this stage Madrid have got an offer on the table, but of the respective offers ours eclipses theirs. I've long maintained the only chance we have of signing him is putting the best financial package in front of him and his representatives. No shame in that; he's going to be a Balon D'or contender and the club look like they're showing a ruthlessness to finally get a marquee signing over the line. The only worry is if Madrid decide to match our offer.

Again, that's my take from the outside looking in. I'm confident City's resolve will hold firm and we'll sign him.

Because I continue to talk to those well informed Madrid fans and they assured me. Besides this, if you read past the bullshit, this is also what the best sources in Madrid media are saying. How would Jason Burt know more about Madrid?

Like I posted earlier at that stage he’d been on here 2 mins and suddenly started making transfer predictions so not unusual to be treated with suspicion.

I agree with you, but it is a bit funny in hindsight in my opinion. He deserves his redemption.

And to be fair, he was very good with the Cancelo signing a year before that

They have lots to replace, but a big budget to do so.

Because if there was, this saga would be over already. Put it this way, Spanish media/pundits in general expect or hope that Madrid will also come in for Haaland after they wrap up Mbappe, but common sense tells us both is not possible as it puts Benzema's position in jeopardy. It's all patience from our end and we're waiting on his final say. If they do come in for him in final moments it's a different story but I doubt.
 
I normally like to keep my head down over transfer matters such as these (about the Viking), but I simply must inform you all that I KNOW...

... he will either sign for us or he won't.

Any one doubting my ITK credentials should realise that aged 10, I was able to piss clear over the outside boys' bog wall at Woolverstone County Primary School with no difficulty.

If that doesn't prove my abilities nothing will.

It’s hilarious lol but that was the Grealish thread for a long, long time. Variations of “Don’t need him” and “won’t pay the money” posted over a thousand times
