Stop...he's much more clinical...Gabby works his ass off but man can he be sloppy...
He maybe much more clinical than Gabby, but at the moment he is untested in the premier league. I hope you are right and he scores 30 goals a season for us, but you like me have no idea if he will be a success in england.

for 500k a week your christening a massive ego and crowning him the star man. despite your sovereign wealth you have exercised restraint where Man United haven't when it comes to dishing out wages. This signing comes with risks

do you know haaland personally to say he's got "a massive ego" or are you just psychoanalyzing people you've never met on the internet

Your club paid over £70m for Nicholas Pepe. How do you know what Haalands wages will be?

Define "sovereign wealth"
City are self-sufficient, spend what they earn and are currently top of the Deloitte rich list due to the money generated through success on the pitch.
Coming from a fan of a club that was bankrolled by Danny Fiszman using money from blood diamonds under the entitled hypocrite Arsene "financial doping" Wenger.
A club that takes millions of pounds a year from Rwanda, a country that coincidentally receives millions of pounds a year in foreign aid from the UK government.
Maybe you should get the letterhead out, write another letter and get your other entitled, American owned red shirted buddies to sign it.

Difference being he joins a team of level headed stars. City do their due diligence on all players. Not only have they got to have the skills, they must also possess the temperament. If they lack either, you won't see them at The Etihad.

Pep is the Boss, backed by his two best mates in football, Begiristain & Soriano. All three are backed by Khaldoon & the four of them are backed by Sheikh Mansour.

Yaya Toure quickly realised the folly of fucking about with that lot.... An extended period training with the kids until he apologised, followed by his departure at the end of the season.

Any player at City faces the same tour de force. Haaland's perceived ego doesn't worry me one bit. Actually, now I come to think of it, how do you know he's got an ego? Are you his Dad Alf? :-/

I would enjoy your stay fella, I don't think you're going to be around for long with snidey digs like that. But I'll hold fire for a while, let some of our fans give you a warm, Mancunian welcome.

I was expecting to see this at page 3000 after the last few weeks haha.

I still think going after Kane was a publicity stunt saying we want you Haaland. We could of got him for 100/120 but knew they wouldn’t budge and would never sign him, especially offering “5 players” or whatever was reported because that would ruin their wage structure.
I just still can’t see us spending on Grealish & Kane or also not going for Messi when having a clear run. This has been planned for a long time if you ask me, I don’t care what anyone says.

You signed up on Bluemoon to type that load of toss?

You've got too much time on your hands lad. Get a job.

Agreed, have felt this way for a while. It was a real half-arsed effort to sign Kane. We knew they wouldn’t pick up the phone for 100m, but we never went back for more.

The motive, I don’t know. I’m guessing either try grab Kane for lower than his value at the time, or placate the fans clamouring for a #9.

Im open that Kroenke married into wealth and Walmart are predatory in the USA taking advantage of America's lower income class. We are sponsored by Rwand'a tourism despite the country government being very suspect.

Ive actually got a Chelsea mate who is forthright about Roman Abramovich - he doesn't care Romans factories fit the Russian tanks in Ukraine, he just wants the funding.

Im honest with myself about Arsenal. We bribed our way into the top flight in 1927, Wenger took advantage of European employment laws to give professional contracts to the best teenage talents as they couldn't sign professionally, best example being Cesc & Anelka being signed as 16 and 17 years of age.

Im just honest mate. What else would you call your origins of wealth? No need to be sensitive about it. Chelsea did it for a full decade before you did.

Again this comment proves it is impossible to think non City fans have any substantial knowledge of our club.
500k a week says who? Did Txiki inform you in person?
Christening a new player? When the player knows he will be just one of 18.
Massive ego? So you know Haaland as well?
Sovereign wealth? What has that got to do with it? We try to sign players within the rules that clubs like Arsenal agreed to to try and stop another competitor for a CL place.
The signing comes with a risk? So does any signing. At any club.

You probably mean well. But it comes out completely and utterly rubbish.

Well said @Blueboy73. What is this sovereign wealth the arsenal are going on about? We have earned our money through graft and sweat.

Ah, the old classic, I've heard the same story from my own sources...

Thanks for confirming Hope came to the table with it, because he is right in with Newcastle and Amanda Staveley, who visited City just before the story broke.
Next will be Sam fucking Lee pulling his usual bullshit of “I actually knew about this weeks ago but chose not to write about it at the time” FFS
