I think its more of the fact the targets they are trying to sign have had prices arranged with the club but after a certain date the selling team will listen to other offers again

Think I read somewhere we had drawn more blanks this season than for 6/7 years, though. Piled up a lot of big scorelines early in the season but finishing remains a clear concern
