Espanyol vs. Real Madrid - SS1

Adebayor was a constant threat last night. He should of buried at least one of those chances but it's galling to see a player that was left to rot in our reserves looking that determined. He was rapid, powerful and had a great first touch. All elements his current replacement lacks and needs to find quickly as our season begins to stutter. 1 win in five since he joined. The Marsh effect.

Adebayor was badly managed by Mancini, buying Edin as a replacement was poor poor management and a waste of funds.

Could not see Ade ever getting back to that initially energised goal-a-game. Started sulking and never stopped. He wanted stuff on a plate and he would then condescend to waft it in the net. Can't risk putting yer hopes on someone like that. Dzeko, at least for the moment, is champin' at the bit, just like Ade did.
