the biggest clubs are Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke and Hamburg, definetely not St. Pauli

yes, 1860 Munich was a founding member of the bundesliga, Bayern not (promoted in 1967). Munich people loved 1860. Bayern was even in their great times of the 70ties more respected than loved. They always had a great number of fans in the area around Munich and nationwide in germany. But 1860 completely lost it in the last 30 years, the decline in their support is a shame.
