Totally bossed the midfield today. We were always gonna struggle without Vinnie and Nige and with Essien playing like that we were never in it

Nuff said - he is just different class BUT I think that De Jong will be as valuable to us in a different way.

Absolutely brilliant performance from him, of course we're gonna struggle against that when we have no proper class defensive mids. Our defense did very well considering, IMO.
