Essien is wayyyy out of our league

But he plays for Chelsea and by all accounts, we can out bid Chelsea.

Yeah we can - but why would he leave a club who have consistently finished in the top 3 for the past 5 years and only missed one CL semi final in the past 6?

We have a lot of money and potential, but we have got a LONG way to go to match what Chelsea have done in the past few years!
