Sorry to hear that, i think he is one of the best in the prem if not THE best. Hope he recovers but given the history would fear the worst.

We don't know what actually happened to him yet, the club haven't told us what the scans revealed. If its his anterior cruciate ligament again, it could be career ending, at least at the top level. He may have strained something, in which case it wouldn't be that bad, or he could have damaged something else. If its related to his previous injury, it could end his career.

And comments about him being a vile man? The guy runs multiple charities out in Ghana at his own expense, he's a peace ambassador and spends all his holiday time out there helping these people who have the sum total of nothing. We have some pricks in Chelsea, but Essien is not one of them.
