Obviously I do, my agenda is I don't like seeing any group excluded, white/black/yellow/brown from the boogie down ;)

The facilities i've come across in largely asian communities have been shitty, Chelsea/City whoever should invest in decent facilities, maybe then we'll see a pakistani premiership player

Who's being excluded?

Albino's

This is a cultural issue rather than a race issue. Because some cultures don't readily fit with our stereo type, it has become the norm to instantly assume that it's because of Institutional racism. My guess is that there are few British Asian footballers because they prefer and choose other sports.

I don't hear the British Athletics Association pleading for more white or asian 100m sprinters for example, or the authority who runs our swimming team leading an effort to get more afro-carribeans into the swimming team.

Tokanism is as shitty a concept as racism. If you're good enough, you should be allowed to succeed whatever your colour or creed. If you prefer cricket to football, we shouldn't be trying to change the cultural dynamic.

the financial incentive to having a player brought in from those countries is much more significant than finding one whose based in UK. Think about the film Slumdog Millionaire, an Asian superstar brought up in not so ideal background creates a super frenzy of fans etc. Those countries will have much stronger bond to a player brought up from their country than one brought up in a different country.

It's all financial, like the rags when they bought the Chinese player Dong FangZhao and never played him. All marketing to tap into a new potentially huge market.

Problem with the 'huge' Asian market is that the vast majority of them are poor and won't be spending anything on memorabilia. I was in Thailand recently and the place is crawling with Thai Utd fans all wearing shirts - except the shirts were pretty much all rip offs bought from the patpong market and made by some thai granny in her shack. I'm all for the locals making a few quid out of Utd's brand though. It is a flawed business strategy to assume the Asian market is a crock of gold.

I heard about this project initially on a well known political agenda website but thought it was a wind-up, now i've just seen this article on the BBC and it confirms;

Chelsea trial for Asians

Premier League champions Chelsea will give six Asian players a week-long trial at the club as part of their search for an Asian football star.

The six were chosen after recent trials at the club for Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani and Sri Lankan players aged between eight and 13.

It is the scheme's second year and 450 players turned up for three days of tests watched by Chelsea's coaches.

Now this is a Race Issue and this does in my opinion take the human race almost back 5,000 years were SlaveMasters would seek specific races of people to work for their businesses.

Now these boys won't be whipped (presumably)
But this for me is going about encouraging ethnic minority participation in football in the wrong way.
Sure Asian Youth are under-represented in this game but just holding a competition excluding people based on their race isn't right.

All the money The Roman Empire has, they could assist local councils in areas with large Asian populations such as Bradford/Burnley/Oldham/Bolton in creating high quality sreas for the lads to play the game, networking with schools and parents to encourage their children to use the facilities.

Not just poaching them out of obscurity based on their genetical traits.

Can you imagine City coming out now and saying; Today we have launched a campaign to find The Premier leagues first Albino football player...
u need to get out more if thats all u have to worry about!!!
