Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

Is it just an obsession among City fans about how long it takes them to get home? Never understood this need our fans have about how long it takes to get home. Do they leave the cinema just before the end of the film or halfway through their dessert at a restaurant? I know some people have got long journeys or have to get to work but I'm pretty sure that's not the 60 to 70 percent of our fanbase that have left by 85 mins. Stay to the end and clap the team off. Stop obsessing about how long it might take you to get off the car park or catch a tram. Relax and enjoy your day out

I do have to question though... People leaving 5 minutes before the end, do you not think about the last minute goals you may miss? So many are scored in the last 5 minutes of games. What if the game was 1-1 and we were pressing for the winner would you still leave.

I have see hundreds of people leaving in this scenario, each to their own, but it's madness!

Yh only got to look at sterling 90 minute winner against Southampton a few years back the ground was half empty

If we could get just 50 or 60 tickets grouped at the back of 115 it would help a lot, 100 would be even better. We do have a lot of regular singers at the back of 115 but there are still a lot of areas diluted by non singers and seats taken up by people that clearly have not been to a game before videoing the game or being a blogger.

We cant get tickets grouped, even on champions league nights there are just odd random tickets left, when it comes to season card renewals there are about 12 spare in the whole block which holds 750.

It is a mystery. To say 115 is only about 7 seasons in place how the hell has it got this way. We are on to the club about this every year on how we can move out the non singers and day seats. I have even said wipe the whole of 115 at the end of the season and try to somehow filter out fans in there that would be better off in other areas. It would kick off like mad the club told us, they wont and cant do much about it.
It’s so frustrating that the club won’t do anything to help on this. They didn’t mind people “kicking off like mad” when they were being turfed out of areas to make way for corporate. It just shows why we need to support fans groups and create a bit of pressure on the club to get somewhere. Other clubs fans have done it, and are getting somewhere, too many of ours would rather snipe at somebody trying to effect change from behind a keyboard rather than get off their arse and do something.

Shocking number of seats empty at the end. Like you say it's an obsession. Can't think of any top club or relegation candidates for that matter that empties as quick as we do. Maybe Arsenal when they're playing crap. At the end of the day it's Pep you have to feel sorry for. He and the players deserve better support.

I waited until every player had left the pitch on Tuesday. Then I had a chat with a mate for about 10 minutes. Walked back to the car and drove home to Urmston in 20 minutes. If it takes anyone over an hour to get away from the ground they're parking in the wrong place.
You’re Sir Lewis Hamilton and I’m claiming my £5 reward

I think the obsession is more fans complaining about people leaving early.

They can do what they like.

I could actually see people heading down the tunnel when Wolves were taking their corner near the end. Definitely cannot be genuine City fans if they’re doing that.

It’s a free country so you’re right to an extent. If they decided to boo all game even though we were winning then they have a right to do that. However, just like the above it is unacceptable.

Unless you know the circumstances of each person that leaves early you cannot say it is unacceptable.
