Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

Terrible idea to ask city to cut the PA system pre match. Might make a few hundred in the south stand easier to hear but that isnt going to encourage the family stand or colin bell stand to raise their voices which is what we need, The PA system does. We need all the noise we can muster.

Let's not start singing songs for players long since left tonight, stick to the classics in the main, they're what gets the ones who don't usually sing to sing or at least sing about players on the pitch. Every single person needs to find their voice tonight, if you cannot make noise tonight why are you even going? Deafen them in the stands and we will crush them on the pitch. C'mon you beautiful blue bastards!

The PA system is too loud

like you say no one needs encouragement to make a noise tonight

The PA system doesn't encourage people to raise their voices imo.

Honest question, do you go the games?, the pa kills everything dead, twice against Bayern the songs were starting and fucking Just eat blared out to kill it all

Great post. In games like this our job is to give as much as we can to boost the team - why? Because it will help them through the game and hopefully send us all home ecstatic knowing we’ve played our part. I wish I was going.
Thousands chanting City, City” etc is so much more powerful thank clever songs with loads of words etc, we love you City with loads of clapping has always been a fave of mine. Enjoy
