Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

I’ve said it before but maybe the cup scheme should be opened up to a limited number of Cityzens members who have a certain number of points.

i’ve been trying to get a ST for a while for me and the nephew - we try and get to as many home games as i can afford and have been to every CL home game for the past few seasons. would’ve been gutted not to go last night - definitely think the club needs to look at a cup scheme for cityzens with enough points.

Ah ,that's ol reet then.

Did you win ?
I’m in the cup scheme so I didn’t need to enter it.

Actually I’m not sure what point you’re making. When 40,000 people go online to buy a ticket and are randomly allocated a queue number at 9am irrespective of when they went on, and only the first 10,000 can buy a ticket what would you call it if not a lottery.

Fortunately my son was allocated around 3,000 in the queue so he got lucky, but although he has around 10,000 points and has been to about a dozen games home and away this season and has been trying unsuccessfully to get a season ticket for the last 2 years (that he had only given up 5 years ago because he went away to uni), he had the same chance as someone buying a membership this morning. Does that sound reasonable or should they have had a points criteria?

They do it on purpose. The club need to look into why this is happening, but they won’t. But those magical European nights at Anfield come across loud and clear on BT TV.
City’s own in-house cameras are sometimes as bad. Rarely show much or any of the displays in the South Stand and tend to pan on to fans in the less raucous parts of the ground - as someone else said, the so-called “safe” options. One day they might actually show the South Stand going mental but I’m not banking on it!

You will disagree, and in fact I disagree too, but to someone who has desperately been trying to get a ticket to a game, you can bet it does.

We've always turned up for times and games we are needed. Over the last few years we've become so good that maybe 6-8 games maximum a season at home present a threat to us, or carry extra spice due to bitter rivalry. Therefore at other times we enjoy the football and are pretty relaxed. Since the premier league charges they have poked a hornets nest. We hate the fuckers the same way we hate/hated EUFA. As a result every game is us against the rest. The cartel, the media, the brain-dead sheep of other clubs fans who boo Jack for no reason, the online trolls who trot out the lies of being state owned, cheats, having unlimited money to spend. Personally I hate the lot and have nothing but contempt for them all. I wish we could relegate every single one of the fuckers.
