Biggest contributor to a good atmosphere is all that stuff.We focus too much on song choice here. Songs are only a tiny fraction of what makes a decent 'atmosphere'.
Although I agree with the logic of what Didsbury Dave says, there are no excuses for blues in the other three stands who sit on their hands and go silent. You can boo, cheer, whistle, shout, wave a scarf, bring a flag, clap your hands, stand up, go mad when we score etc...
The best atmosphere we've had at the Etihad was against Liverpool in 2019 and we barely sang anything.

Atmosphere for these kind of games were always local now we've got people just watching their phone instead of the game and they probably 'support' about 10 other teams aswell
