The atmosphere plummeted when pellegrini and his brand of wank boring predictable football took over. It was better under previous managers . Hopefully when things settle with pep it will return.

Also starting a rendition of blue moon is not going to rev the crowd up. That is the worse boring Ieast exciting football song in the world. It flattens the atmosphere even more.

I still think closing City square and the outside bars further in advance of kick off would help get people in to the ground earlier and let the atmosphere build up.

Not while the smoking ban is enforced, create smoking areas at half time and people MIGHT start to get into the ground earlier

I hate that. It proper pisses me off how many would prefer to have a pint of tepid urine or one last drag of their cig on the spiral rather than get back to their seat. I know it's pay your money make your choice blah blah blah but the whole point of match day is surely to watch the fucking match!

The match for me isn't just about the spectacle, it's catching up with people that I rarely see outside of going to the game.
