Etihad atmosphere

i thought that was really good the other day. as soon as they got on the ball we booed them and whistled. the last time i remember us really doing that at home was the derby when swp scored the 4th against them. we should do it tomorrow.

It was great but I do agree we had too many still in the bogs and concourse at the start of the second half. I nipped out for a slash just as the teams came out thinking it would be quiet and was shocked how many were still out there.

We can recreate that first half noise on Tuesday: and hopefully get an early goal. The east and Colin bell stands were getting involved and the size of the new south stand really showed how loud it can be if everyone is up for it.
However everyone needs to be back to their seats for early second half and keep the noise going cos it was significantly lower in that second half (no doubt cos we conceded 3 in about 15 mins) but if Liverpool score 1 and we’re 2-3 nill up the crowd needs to respond and keep pushing the boys forward.
GET 2 BEFORE HALF TIME AND WE CAN DO THIS

Many went to the concourse 10 minutes before half time, as they thought the game was won, then they stayed for another pint, and it was probably about 2/3 full when united scored around me.

No game is ever over at 2-0.

I agree there were people just standing there with pints chatting and in the bogs smoking and chilling out. I don't think it made a great difference to be honest. I got back to see the rags swarming all over us, I was shocked seen as they couldn't get near the ball in the first half.

Loving the irony in this post.

I don't think it did either, but its sad that people can't be back in time for kick off, we had a warning in the first minute, perhaps had everyone been back in their seats the atmosphere might have got going straight away, there were about 3 rows behind me with hardly anyone there, and by the time they'd all come back it was 2-1.

No irony at all. I deliberately waited so I could be quick.....hey we all have to go sometime! I am about 6 rows from the exit and if I didn't have to fight my way there and back through crowds of people I would have been back by the time they kicked off.

+1

Not convinced it was intentional, either?

Haha, @pass2silva evidently not!
