Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Threa

Just had this email

In March last year, we began work on the expansion of the Etihad Stadium which will see 6,000 new seats added to the South Stand.

The on-going construction work meant that a number of supporters were relocated from the back row of the South Stand.

We have been working closely with the contractors throughout the season and we are pleased to advise that we have been able to re-introduce the majority of seats on the back row.

Once our final safety checks have been completed, we will contact you again to provide further details on how you may be able to return to the back row of the South Stand.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support at this time.

Kind regards,

Supporter Services

Sounds like you will be back in your normal seat before the end of season.

I think there must be a desire to keep our average attendances at the 4th largest in the PL.

Liverpool aren't far behind us with a more limited capacity this season.

Just a reminder how big the stand will look when finished. Compare the size of the new tier with the two bottom tiers already in place.

Looks like an intimidating fortress, job done!.

An intimidating fortress with the away support in it!!

Cup games are a worry, some of our singers are split all over the ground when we give up the South.

I wonder if we'll turf all the FOC's out of a side level 3 and let us all stay where we are behind the goal or at the very least only give 2 tiers away in it Giving say the rags/dippers or in fact any away side that amount of seats behind a goal is suicidal in my mind.

There are a few suggestions the Manchester Life 800 homes eventually 6000) project will be announced at MIPIM. I'd forgotten about the Murray Mills conversions. Get back to her desk!
