Thank's once again. My pleasure.

What with the proposed North Stand and leisure destination/Etihad Campus around the stadium, I won't be finished anytime soon.

It's been roughly 3 years, 100's of pictures, and counting. :-)

A couple more I forgot to add. Nothing exciting.

I keep looking at these circular flat plates on the off shoot branches at the top of some of the main stanchions.

Can anyone enlighten me ? What are they for ?

you mean where it branches off for about 18'' and is like blanked off at the ends with a circular plate?,if so i can only think the end plate unbolts so the branch can be extended for possibly more structural support if needed,or maybe something cosmetic is to be added when finished, they are most definitely there to allow a branch off and the size indicates they would support a lot of weight

It's going to so much more impressive and dramatic when the existing roof comes off and the new roof meets the back of the expanded third tier.

Does anyone know when this is likely to be?

A bit of shite MS Paint-ing and you get an idea of what scale that third tier will be like from the north stand:

It looks to me that the new tier has been cut short at the sides when compared to the artist impression images released. Any comments on this anyone?
