Not wishing to tread on the toes of jrb - but I saw this link to a site SkyscraperCity on another forum.

Juts back from a presentation on ADUGS investment in new homes in the City. 5 plots initially in Ancoats and New Islington including the refurb of the historic Murrays Mills which looks amazing.

For those that know Ancoats they are also completing new developments on the Old Stockbridge Airco sites and the site of the old Express Motors which have been empty for years.

A total of 930 new homes. First schemes in for planning next month with hopefully a start on site this year.

Very interesting for any stattos interested in development in the City.

Is on in the St Peters Church (practice room for the Halle) in Ancoats until 7 tonight if anyone wants to pop along.

Not wishing to be overly critical but if you'd smashed the window and leant out to the left, you could have got more of the stadium in that's hidden behind that other building.

Have City put out any pictures of what the new concourse behind the level 2 East Stand will look like - the walls they are putting in are a nuisance. Would really like to know what I'd be getting for the extra 300 that i'm expecting on my season ticket.

Agreed. Made the concourse a shambles, far too narrow - the lack of info about what's going on there is pretty crap too, looks like they're going to give us a week or two to pay up, move or fuck off.

Here's a chop from the original planning app from the North East Corner but the same equally applies to both the South East and South West Corners. Down the sides they are basically dividing the second tier concourse in half to extend the exec seat facilities, create the 911 club area and then leave a bit left for the great unwashed

Thanks for that - my main concern is that we occupy a wheelchair space which is smack bang in the middle of this new corporate area, given the options for relocation are lessened, what do we do? The club's disabled 'services' seem to have zero idea when I've had conversation with them!
