it's right remember it's not A to SS as some letters are missed out like O, OO, I, II, Q, QQ etc
so 28 and 39 are correct

The new Platt Lane was 28 rows and the current third tiers definitely seem bigger in the middle. I'll count next game.

I've double checked block 305 it's 29 rows and around 789 seats. It's surprising how little the third tier actual holds a bit of an optical illusion

I think the smaller tiers below make them look bigger as well. How many rows on the bottom two tiers? Sorry to question it, just genuinely felt bigger than Platt Lane end to me but seems it's not the case.

No optical illusion, CBL3 and EL3 are bigger in area than the Umbro but the capacity is similar because of the much steeper rake and consequently deeper steps.

You can tell it's in the final stretch looking at those photo's, it's looks so much more intimidating. A proper fortress!.

Nice pics Mancini.

The South Stand is getting more and more massive(arf!) as it get's closer to completion. That is some overhang.

I think most away fans who have already been to the Etihad this season are in for a big shock when they come back next season.

I went into Manchester yesterday and noticed that they were assembling the lateral (?) frame. It looks awesome, seems to span out so far it's actually above Ashton New Road. Only managed to grab a quick snap through the dirty bus window...
