Once the cranes are down that will give us a better view of the stand from Alan Turing Way.

I'm assuming all the other exterior cladding, etc, will be lifted by mobile crane and fitted that way?

Thought they'd organised to close AT Way and Ashton NEW (Old) Road junction while it came down this weekend?

Done the tour today and can confirm that 2 mobile cranes were being set up on the pitch.
The pitch has been heavily sanded and protective covers fitted to the whole of the south stand end.With an access road created from the tunnel in the corner to the south stand.

That picture adds real scale. Those are some extremely large mobile cranes and they don't look it compared to the size of the stand.

Looking at that pic they seem to have made considerable inroads into the seating of the third tier..only a couple of blocks seatless
