I have a question for those in the know about the new SSL3. Apologies if it's already been answered/discussed . The current level 3 stands have the spiral access which makes it easier to get up there, especially for unfit fans (for whatever reason). Given the lack of space behind the SS, I take it fans will have to walk up a series of stairs ala Newcastle away end ? Could be quite an arduous trek for some !

There are lifts, maybe 4 or 5 but the lift shafts dont look to big so the lifts will be small. i think they are expecting most people to use the stairs and or spirals. Getting to the concourse is not to bad using the stairs, its the climb up the 3rd tier thats the killer its steep as fuck and the steps are huge. Feel sorry for anyone on the back row :)

They are getting a free workout with their £299 season cards!

What is the old Police station going to be?

I heard it was going to be the new FA headquarters? They are based at my sons school at the moment MCA Rochdale rd couldn't say if true though...

The Manchester FA relocated last year into Platt Lane along with MMU when City moved out

I would caution anyone who is basing their 100K thoughts on renders etc from 6 or 7 years ago - we've moved on a lot since then and I think certain realities have kicked in - there's been a very public render of an 80K option that we know was rejected and as far as I am concerned if the Etihad was expanded upwards/outwards on all sides it's only good for about 75K unless we get into pitch lowering and put more seats in front of the new three rows in front of the lower tier - I think its about 1000 seats per row max - I reckon that with the pitch lowered another 4 or 5 rows could be fitted in, so again 80K max

Been saying it for ages, stop a lot of the early leavers, even an underpass, opened only on match days.
I don't think the club will change that though, they know that the car park will be full for pretty much every game and they will want people knowing the road will be closed for a while so they will go and have a look round the City store or grab a pint at City square instead!
