Wasn't there a rumour they might get rid of the executive boxes in the North Stand when it gets re-developed?

Maybe they want the audience who were in these to move to the new CB tier 1 corporate seats from next year.

Looking at the photos from today's game. Dear god. What an horrendous stadium.

I'm not sure what is worse, the view from tier two or The cheapo scaffold style seating for the lower tier. Puts what we've done at our ground into perspective.

I think it looks great. That giant one tier'd Kippax style stand along the side (far side) is what I wish the East Stand would be like at the Etihad. I don't like our little tiers at all.

I thought last season was a step up for us in atmosphere, especially when you think how poor we were at times last season at home and im really looking forward to this season as it could be a fantastic season to be there and the stands will hopefully be bouncing. West Ham will do their best to make it home and give it a good atmosphere, but that roof looks even worse than ours for keeping noise in, fans so far from the pitch etc, once the honeymoon period wares off it will be difficult for them. Hope they make a success of it though.

I think it was a step up for the Chelsea game but for the rest of the season it was exactly the same as previous seasons only the singers are now in the South Stand rather than the East corner.

Yes I think the football didn't help last season, hopefully that won't be an issue this year.

That was a massive part. There were so many games last season where City went through the motions last season and their hearts weren't in it. It was just a long waiting game for the season to be over.
 
Went past the Etihad South Stand today and it looks like they were putting in the wiring/framework behind the mesh for a big badge. Two work men were up there, right in the middle above the Etihad Stadium sign.
