Same building schedule as when the South Stand was built, concerts won't affect the construction work next summer so contstuction will go ahead as muted in the new year.
Looking at pictures on Twitter seems a lot of seats to go in yet ? Thought they had Ltd capacity today due to persistent standing ?Just a quick post on West Ham, after all the hype about selling out with 60k at every game the attendance was only 56600 today for its first game. Although it's a good attendance if they have 50k season tickets holders as stated and say 2k away fans not many match day tickets were sold. We have approx 46k season card holders and when the away 3rd tier is available we sell at least 7/8k match day tickets. Might be interesting to see how many they average if they don't do so well this season and when the novelty of the new stadium wares off, got a feeling a lot of their season tickets have been bought by punters in London who are not West Ham fans but as the prices were low saw a chance to watch cheap premier league football. Mid table at Xmas less the 50k turning up what do you think? Official capacity was up to 60k for today's game.

That's right. Newham restricted capacity to 57000 due to persistent standing. There was even a pic posted of people sat stood on concrete as they hadn't put seats in![/QUOTE
Didn't know that, still will be interesting to see how attendances hold up during the season. Wonder if the council just trying to make a point and will ease off as other councils have done, didn't we have a similar problem when we first moved to the Etihad ?

Is that a question or a statement? The blue lights haven't been replaced on the spikes as someone said?
