While I was at the game last Wednesday. I got talking to a OAP in the Colin Bell Stand and he said to me that he had heard that the club is thinking of building a 4th tier on the stand opposite the Colin Bell stand. So I was wondering if anybody has heard anything. This is supposed to be done after the extension to the North Stand has been completed. In about 3yrs + from now.

I think both East and West stands are both in the offing but understood it was a good 5 - 10 years away before work even starts. North 3rd tier to open commencing 2018-19 season.

Got into a argument with a guy at work, As the Etihad ever been only half full for a City game ? I can't think of a game that as had less then 25'000 ?

I believe that the Chinese have just found a map , centuries old , that proves that the "Silk Road " wound its way from Outer Mongolia , through Beswick ,
on its way to Macclesfield..............ha ha
That's how we came to sign Barry Silkman!

4th tier Think of the difficulties in doing this It would require a new roof all around the stadium the logistics of doing that are huge would probably require the stadium to be closed for a year whilst the old roof was removed and a new one built IMHO a new stadium would be cheaper and easier which is the course that should have been taken before extending the south stand.

The lowest league gate I can remember was 34000 plus for a Televised Monday night game against Watford under Stuart Pearce which finished 0-0. The Guy at work is talking shite.
