Now is the time to announce it, as apparently we are a small club with no no fans, never won anything, our manager wants out ext.

A few thoughts below on possible changes to ticket and area allocations.

Upon completion of the new North stand the family stand members should be given the option to move to level three or a new family stand section based in the South West of level one.

South stand away section will be expanded to meet new away allocation due to expansion where demand is high at cup games this will be an almost complete takeover.

Level one south stand current singing section should be made into a neutral supporter section (similar already exists at Fulham). This area should also be used for the ticket allocation given to the likes of Thompson sport etc. It should be none season ticket holders as they will be moved for large away following cup games.

Level one North stand should be made into the new singing section and IF allowed safe standing. This will allow the current singing sections to be put in one place, singing to ‘flow out on both sides’ and atmosphere be created at both ends of the ground. (Away in the South and City singing in the North)

Level two I am sure will become all corporate, the one or two tier North stand is a none starter as plans etc. are already in place and there is no advantage to the club.

What do you think?
Pretty much agree on all of that.

Some have said we wouldn't have a 'neutrals' area. Maybe not but it would be ideal for the matchday 'casual' home fans. Maybe even pay on the gate if that were possible.

I've been told one. They've been looking at the feasibility of it (hence why there hasn't been much news recently). If it's two expensive expect something similar to South Stand, with the main difference of no corporate areas.

that would be amazing. its exactly what our stadium needs. if we went with what we have in the south stand it would be a waste imo. wed end up with basically arsenals stadium.

You can never second guess the owners and the people who work for City, but could we finally be closer to a start on the proposal? Or at least getting some long overdue information about it?

Taken from this week's planning docs.

Bit of digging.

Yes the permission was for both ends

Planning permission is generally valid for 3 years if work hasn't started within that time then the application will have to be resubmitted, there is a possibility to request an extension to the deadline

But as the original application was for both ends, doing the south stand was a planning "start" for both ends. Extensions to the 3 years went out a while ago. (Labour reduced the 5-year start period to 3 when the economy was booming; the Tories wrecked the economy but have left it at 3 years, though for a while they allowed an extended period, but it's now 3 years - if there's no start by then, consent lapses - though you don't need to do a lot to make a "start").

What do you think that suggests they might be doing? Im presuming its that little white building they are proposing to knock down?

Nah, no plans beyond demolition of that single disused building - maybe a bit of extra car park for now?

Ok thanks for the update So does that mean we could wait an infinite amount of time without reapplying?
