Can anyone explain what's going on with the black Tarmac/shale/coating(?) in-front of the main stand? TBH I don't like the look of it. That's just me.
I take it the concrete walls have now been replaced permanently by those low metal fences at the bottom of the lower tier/s?
Is it actually tarmac ? Either way it looks temporary, so I wouldn't worry, they won't want tarmac, rain, football boots, and multi million pound footballers coming together. Can anyone explain what's going on with the black Tarmac/shale/coating(?) in-front of the main stand? Still no sign of the seats going in the existing 3 tiers in the corners ?More from:

Have we narrowed the blocks by 1 row(in the aisles?) or taken a few out at front and back?

Just looked on planner looks like they could be blocks 301 and 330 ? or are they not on the plannerI'd noticed that but I presume it's the easiest bit to do so they are probably concentrating on getting the South Stand done first. The seats in the other stands could quite feasibly get fitted a couple of days before the Chelsea game.
Is it just me, or has the gap between block 111 and the away fans increased in size? Looks like some additional rows of seating have been taken out to increase the gap.

It has, to prevent away fans in tiers 2 and 3 being sat directly above the home fans.
Away fans now get a small slice of 212 for the same reason
