Someone ages ago suggested that each Take That concert was worth £1m to the club, that was with a smaller stadium and predominantly female audience drinking champagne and Pimms. But the maths is fairly simple 60,000 tickets sold with the club retaining just £10 from each one and £6.66 profit from food, drink and merchandise would hit the £1m. I would image the club leases the stadium for a set fee so gets its target regardless of number of tickets soldRemember when they stated the desire to pull in 6,000,000 per annum to the area?
30 home games at 60,000 is 1.8m, concerts another 1m - they would be half way there!
300,000 this Summer.
Coldplay, ACDC, and the Stone Roses.

R kid had the kit shop manager in his cab the other day who said they sell £100k of kits etc on a busy match day!
200 tops + assorted bits doesn't sound too outlandish.
Plus the Market Street store will shift a few!
Not of that new monstrosity they won't!

200 shirts = £100k....shirts are too fuckin dear
The only good thing about the new shirts is the £120 I will save on not buying one each for the junior blues...
But back on topic, I'm tempted to drive by tomorrow and see the new logos going on.
I think he meant the figure was wrong 200 shirts at £100k means they're £500 a topI agree. I meant the figure sounds reasonable given how many are at games.

How will Brexit affect City's stadium development plans? Any risk that these plans are put on a backburner until after Britain has really left?
