Read the other day that Arsenal recorded a record turnover of £422m for their last financial year. Aren’t City's financials due anytime?
Very true. That could be a great half way house on match day if they included bars and restaurants. one major problem with the stadium at the moment is that there is nowhere close that provides decent food/drink. Splits up the walk back to the city centre.
Very true.
It’s either stay round the small amount of pubs around the ground and get the Met or taxi after the crowds have died down or take a 30 minute walk back to Town and nowt else really at the moment.
There needs to be a lot more between Town and the ground in the future.
And make the bottom tier safe standingThe dream
This would be brilliant.The dream
Come on City, make it happen. The dream
Does anyone think there is any possibility the owners could be planning a new stadium on the campus to replace the Etihad? Everything i see from them indicates they want the absolute best and the wow factor, and unless they are planning on spending an absolute fortune on the, then the current etihad just isnt that. If we go on to have the dream season this year then we are soon going to outgrow our current capacity and demand is going to grow and grow at a fast pace. Unless we start the NS extension this summer which isnt exactly looking likely, then we are looking another 3 years potentially before any kind of extension is complete.
