The two Headingley stadiums share a concourse with both of their main stands coming of that one concourse.

I thought the plan was for Asda to move out, a hotel/casino to be built there, Athletics Stadium being re-located and other stuff being built in its place...

All you need to know like all of us, unless you are privy to what’s going on, is what you read on here.

You won’t find anything more up to date anywhere else. And if by chance you do, it will already be on here.

As you should know, City don't give anything away. They do not go public about anything until they are ready.

Yes, it’s frustrating, but that’s the way it is.

At some point in the future there will be an announcement by the club and/or the city council.

I appreciate your frustration. I think we all share it. It's fair to say this is dragging out much longer than any of us thought. But there must be a reason for that. Hopefully we"ll hear and see something soon?

From khaldoons interview after the season I think that it’s financial rather than anything else? He mentions business partners so I assume that to keep coatings down the club have been looking for partners for the surrounding area. They could be waiting on safe standing possibly as I believe the south stand expansion was £80m!

Its probably already been mentioned but during the City Stadium Tour last Friday,we were told that included in the North Stand Redevelopment,within the next couple of years,would be a zip wire,from the top of the roof.
I for one was very sceptical and I said to the tour guide that we (or some) were hoodwinked into believing there would be giant slides erected.It was of course an April Fools joke which went worldwide.
However ref the zip wire the Guide was very serious,as was our second one.
Watch this space or be clarkied ?

For those who do understand how the politics might play out?

I saw Etihad announce this weekend they are re-routing flights due to the tensions with Iran.

I know Abu Dhabi mothballed a number of building projects when the economic downturn came and were also on hand to lend Dubai £10bn for some liquidity issues?

If war becomes a reality in the Straits of Hormuz, I personally don't see our owner funding wider football infrastructure, should the rockets start firing and be forced to leave the region for their own safety?
