That piece of land has been crying out for redevelopment. They could put a nice new boozer/eaterie on there & it'll be a goldmine. Give Mary D's a bit of competition.

Yes, great location for a Hotel/Pub.

Pub on the ground floor, Hotel rooms above it.

I’m sure the owner of Mary D’s would object.

Went into Mary D’s on Saturday.

Don’t normally go into Mary D’s, but some Friends were in there.

Stood in the back near the car park.

The place is absolutely rammed.

The person who owns it must be making a fortune from it.

I bet he doesn’t live in Beswick. :-)

It is a One Manchester project that could take up to 7 years to complete, there will be new road layouts with better walking and cycling routes
