For me the bus to Hoffenheim stadium , that packed that if it had turned over I think you would moved !
Then the train back to Dusseldorf from the Hoffenheim or was Schalke ? Packed and didn't move for about 20mins ,the doors just kept closing and opening till we eventually set off .

It’s a bloody long way from Hoffenheim to Düsseldorf (325 km). I think you would be referring to Schalke.

Presume you were on that train because we sung this song all the way back. Every time the train announcer mentioned Aarhus in the list of stations it would start up again. I think this song may started on the Mitdjyland trip as well because most City fans stayed in Aarhus (what a great city) for that one. Those Danish trips were brilliant, much more fun than the CL trips.

Yes wasn't sure if it was after the Schalke game ie the stuck train. Thinking about now , for the Hoffenheim game we stayed in Frankfurt and get too Hoffenheim was a couple of catches . So must of been the Schalke game.

No thinking back, it was the Schalke game the 3:2 win .
We stayed Dusseldorf 2 nights as part of a mad round trip, via flights into Hamburg .

Shows clearly how tired looking City Square is.

If there are no plans to expand the North stand over the next 3 years while the arena is being built, City square either needs to be refurbished or redeveloped into something better and more impressive to sit alongside the new arena.

Really was hoping we'd have an integrated plan for a new North stand, a better club shop, a fully covered City Square and a better Metro link station - at present each of these components falls short of the standard required.

The shop needs a rebuild, incorporate museum and catering/ restaurant.

It should be a place people want to hang out during non match days.

The City store needs to be moved and the whole area needs to be redeveloped.

The City store in it's current location won't tie in with the new arena.

A new large glazed building covering the whole area housing different bars, catering venues, a stage, etc.

There is so much more City can do with that area with the arena being close by.

I think they were meant to be moving the Store when they planned to do the North Stand. Think it was being moved to the side directly opposite where the arena is going.

Completely agree, but if the plan is to start when the arena is finished, any work they do now would only be a temporary 3 year thing so doubt they would spend too much on any strucrural facilities or new shop.

It's already used widely in the Bundesliga and the PL are apparently finalising how it can be used for PL matches. For example, betting/alcohol restrictions vary from country to country.

Clever stuff. ITV tried it a few years back, with less advanced technology obviously because it looked dreadful and only worked on the main camera. Is it definitely our advertising boards though? We've got two banks of them to create double height but they will only appear that way from the main tv angle. That's going to be tricky working out the maths on that.
