Cheers for the credit mate - just to clarify that these aren't my pics and they were forwarded to me by a mateUpdated pictures of the nearly finished new bar area in South Stand Level 1.
Note the new City Square stage and full length curved digital screen.
Pictures courtesy of forum member M18CTID. Thanks.

It does mate. Looks like it has a pub feel to it and it's great that they're finally utilising that huge space which came about because they extended the South Stand.looks superb
It was a UEFA Cup game ( not the intertoto cup which was a meaningless trophy, bit like the Watney Cup etc).Think he did, I remember the intertoto cup game against Total Network solutions at what was then the City of Manchester stadium. I was in awe of this stadium we had with no bits missing in the corners and all the stands matching. Tickets that you scanned yourself at the turnstiles, it was witchcraft.
I never take our stadium for granted compared to what we had at Maine Road, it’s a thing a of beauty and one of the first landmarks people see arriving at Piccadilly train station is the South Stand towering over Beswick. Looks better than that shit cow shed in Stretford.
I'm pretty sure that the South Stand has already been expanded.Get the south stand done and the exterior done properly ( Led illuminated etc) and our stadium is stunning and is up with the very best.
sorry getting mixed upI'm pretty sure that the South Stand has already been expanded.
Did you mean to say get the North Stand expanded??

Yeah you are right, we absolutely walloped them in the first leg, which made the return leg at the Millennium stadium a non event. Didn’t they end up getting 6000 people in attendance?
