First event at coop live today, loads of concerns over how the transport links will work and metrolink run single trams on the Ashton-Eccles line. YCNMIU

Loads of activity today for test event later , seems like a lot of last minute work happening as in security check points for tickets .
Definitely isn’t ready yet so I can see why the events limited capacity

Test events are always limited in capacity - although they have cancelled lots of tickets for tonight it should have been 11k but will now be reduced even further.

Lots of work still to go not least getting a working life safety system in place.

Most headliners to go on 8.00 -8-15. Finish 10-10.30.

There won’t be any headliners starting sets at 8pm.

For example Take That have been starting their Arena sets at 8:35pm and finishing at 10:30pm - but they are playing 30 songs in their 2 hour set.

Black Keys who are on next week play a 15 song set which lasts less that 90 mins - so they won’t be starting until 9pm.

Most bands will be 8:45 or 9pm start unless it’s a really big set.

Not as of early this afternoon Capacity reduced to 3k though.
