Just a thought, isn't the hill you're stood on right near where the first team training pitches are going to be? If so, I hope they build a bigger wall, I can imagine the paparazzi reserving there spot on the hill as we speak!

Re future stadium expansion plans.

Perhaps the owners are planning for every eventuality, including a changing in the law?

No need to take the roof of in any dramatic fashion if the club can secure the relevant mandate to go with German style standing behind both goals?

The family stand moves once again to the top of the North Stand.

Would it be right to assume that locking the seats up for domestic games would easily increase capacity to 60,000 plus.

And can come back down again for Champs League games, when ticket prices can be charged at the absolute premium.

It would be nice for City to have a sliding scale which can factor corporates (2nd tier) - families (upper tier North)

Those who wish to sit (East and West)

And two ends which are flexible in use and cater for those who want to stand.

would be great for football in england to have safe standing but i can see a small bunch of fans wrecking it for the rest
maybe a membership card style and fans having photo cards to get tickets would
help the clubs to ID fans who are kicking off

but i dont think we are close to having standing back in england
