Some here in JRB's thread on SkyScraper City bottom of page 3 and someone's coloured the spans sky blue on page 4 Looks better IMHO

It certainly looks better in the coloured format on page 4, the pic's of the area make it look very washed out

This is what I've just posted on the bridge thread on SSC.

Great pictures Hi Fi.

Looks good.

All though not as impressive as the original design, it's got a nice clean look and understated feel about it. It's there to do a job and nothing more.

However, it's still a landmark in my opinion.

Once the training academy and leisure destination is completed on the Collar site, it will blend in nicely.

As for yesterday. Had a great day. Congratulations to Manuel and the team on winning the Capital One Cup.

Never thought I'd say this, but I prefer the white - nice and understated and all that; glad it's not Blue in some respects.

Noticed where the bridge comes down on the stadium side what looks like a goal on an inflatable, like they have in City Square, is this going to be another square for away fans ?

I'd like to argue that the curve of the bridge almost exactly matches the trajectory of the ball during Yaya's Goal of the Century yesterday - can we not have a picture of a goal with a flailing goalkeeper at one side, a picture of Yaya nonchalantly striking the ball at the other and a Blackpool Illuminations still animated display of the ball along the sides of the main span?
