The verdict from the 726 page thread is..

A) There are preliminary plans.
B) It´s not something the club think we need yet, perhaps sometime in the future.

We need a ticketing exchange..... This will make it easier for no-showers to sell their ticket.

Operation Corporate:

The club could do with making one Third Tier in one end for extra seats, and a full corporate section in another end... so rather than just a tier full of seats maybe build loads of corporate boxes.

The club would make more money off these boxes than they would seating

And im betting Villa sells out in next 2 weeks!!
Indeed!

This is the kind of thread that you get a lot of Rags posting in. To those Rags who will turn up because they're obsessed with our attendances; "twenty thousand empty streets, are you fucking sure?!"

Are there any plans to expand our stadium?
Im sure a 60,000 capacity (3 tiers all the way around) would fill well for every league game!

It might mean we could confine away fans to a 3rd tier corner rather than 2 tiers in the south stand!
I really wish the club would find a way to move the away fans to the third tier which would....
(1)Allow for a better atmosphere and (2) Allow City to charge a higher price for away fans!

Based on what? Unless i'm mistaken we've had empty seats at most games this season including our CL debut against Napoli.

We have sold out every league game since west ham in April.

-- Sat Oct 01, 2011 5:38 pm --

Why post when you are totally ignorant?

City should allow fans who have SC's, who cannot make it to a match - as long as they know far enough in advance - to notify City and allow City to re-sell that seat.

100% sell out rate in the league - 3/3, soon to be 4/4. Villa game sold out so they have again opened the NWC and NEC seats to get extra people in.

1st and 2nd tiers are now practically instant sell outs due to season card sales. Third tier seats are quick to be snapped up.

The same demand isn't there for domestic cup games (but is it anywhere?) and the jury is out on CL as it seems like not many have opted into the scheme leaving available seats anywhere. The 70 loyalty point stipulation is gone for Villarreal so we will see properly now the demand for CL seats.

As for league games only, we could now fill a 50-55,000 seat stadium for many games it looks like.

The empty seat thing is annoying but the seats are paid for. God knows why hundreds of season card holders are not showing up, and that corporate(?) area in the second tier above the tunnel always has far too many no-shows.
