It's quite possible something like that could happen from a football point of view, as I'm sure Eto'o would prefer Chumps Lg. I can't see how Inter could afford his wages though, so I'd've personally thought Chelsea were a bigger threat.

In Sport which is also closely aligned with FC Barcelona they are saying that Eto'o is in talks with both Inter & AC Milan and that City are waiting in the wings with a massive offer for him should he decide against going to Italy.

the point i tried to make mate you have just verified to me, there are no quotes, from anyone, nothing from anyone at the clubs, the link you gave is just a summary of the newspaper article,
in the past we have been said to have signed someone, and then fuck all has happened, i dont trust anything in papers is all i was getting at, and until it is coming from the people at either club, or the players, then i dont think there is much to it
who would your plan D be btw? eto'o for me was the player who would lead our front line, lavezzi is more of a second striker, so i really dont know who else they could go for who is going to be available/interested, by that i mean players of a high standard like etoo and villa, not RSC's etc, although i will be happy if we sign him

Inter announces last month that they will spend €100m in the coming window. I think they'd be satisfied with €15m + Eto'o for getting rid of Ibrahimovic who is now making it plain that he wants away from the San Siro. THE PAY (say €8m a year) is well with Inter's reach.
