Just heard from my mate at the club Eto does want to stay but they want to sell him. We are hopeful we can sort it in time for Weds. Tevez will be announced then (as most are saying on here) and a load of extra staff are being called in to work by Cook.

I agree. Thats a lot of money to turn down. Didnt he want to go to Azerbajan or somewhere like that a year ago for a season to make a lot of money? He would be coming to a lot better team and the best league in the world. He will come.

It's just denial. It's just what we tell ourselves whenever it looks like a player doesn't want to come to us. Notice how non of these 'games' actually happen before we actually sign a player but ALWAYS when we get rejected. RE Ronaldinho, Kaka and now seemingly Eto'o.
