To be honest if Eto'o is the type of player to stay at Barca to fuck what plans they have then I'd rather we didn't sign him, this could simply however be agent talk, city or barca really need to curb the eto'o camp and do it quickly before the media ambush the whole transfer.

At the end of the day Laporta will only be interested in how the Barca fans view this. By making it sound that they couldn't persuade Eto'o to stay because of his demands and Citys' willingness to meet them he comes out of it quite nicely and with cash in his pocket as well. Only thing is it's going to backfire and they will now have to deal with a player who will run down his contract and leave for nothing next summer. Eto'o will do it as well as he'll know there'll be plenty of takers next year and City could well be one of them only this time we might have a trophy and Europe in the bag as well.........

This but something tells me we haven't. We will make do with what we've got up front and claim we're not too worried but I suspect alot of people at City may well be pissed off.
