Find me the reasoning behind Wop or Dago ! they have real vitriolic racist edges to those terms. While I apologise if it is a term you find offensive, it is not a term that is used specifically with a tone of hatred, Its up there with Poms and Limeys, You even have a sports team that use the term in there own name !

On this forum it is used almost exclusively derogatorily as a synonym for stupid-violent-evil. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. There isn't a hint of good-natured ribbing about it! It's one thing for a bunch of black guys over here to call each other ni**er, it's quite another if I did it: it's the intent, the contempt...the word as used is meant to objectify, degrade, hurt.

I would guess less than if I were to refer to a Latino Atlantan as a Wop or a Dago !

Look I had an opinion and thats that he's on the Foe list now anyway so its not my problem (not that it ever was) If you 2 are happy with that sort of thing then thats your choice its a free world (generally) and for my part I will bear it in mind to not refer to either of you as Yanks. Happy now ? You may have felt differently if you had Spanish family or maybe the terms do not carry the same weight or conatations in the States, either way lets get back to argueing about ITK's and WUM's Ive said my piece and my opinion aint changed.

Anyway .. I'm looking at it this way, as we don't what the fuck is going on now, not as if we did before, but there's so many conflicting stories coming out that I don't know which way to sway .. But

1. Eto'o is a twat for declining our offer to make Barca pay for snubbing him and in the process ruin what plans they may have had - for someone to do that to the club who has more or less made him stinks of a complete cnut .. great player and finisher, but i don't want someone here who could end up splitting the dressing room .. if he is that arrogant ..

2. We're just being played again and Barca are using us and making us out to be the bad guys .. according to SM321 this is a PR stunt and is part of the plan so it doesn't look bad on Barca's behalf ..

3. We're just getting fucked over by both parties with their own agenda with us stuck in the middle ..

Either way, if he comes i'll be wary of such a high profile player at this early stage of our development, if he doesn't not the end of the world ..

Seriously mate you need to chill out.

Despite your comments I don't 'know it' as you've stated. I won't stop using the word (not that I frequently do) until I can be convinced that it is being used in the same terms as the N word or a couple of other words posted above.

Firstly we made this "strataspheric" offer and now he suddnely wants to annoy Barcelona, yeah right its bullshit because if he was trying to do this I don't think he would be playing much next season.
