OMG. Are you actually saying a points system based on educational attainment; financial circumstances nd/or profession is a level playing field? You can't possibly have thought that through.

There's no level playing field at present. EU citizens have unrestricted access, citizens from other countries have to jump through various immigration hoops. I'd like to see the same entry criteria for all people, regardless of nationality.

Stu,i live in a seaside town, the hotels have staff consisting of Welsh, Polish, Spaniards, English, Romanian,
What binds them all is a pleasant disposition, whatever nationality.
So Stu ,why are young Spaniards working in a stinking climate such as ours?.

i know its not addressed to me, but spa ins economy isn't great right now and their are no jobs for the young. just like in greece, portugal, hence them all wanting to come here

yeah, it's in or out tomorrow, not "remain just how it is" or "leave but be sensible and maintain a lot of what we have through a Norway/Swiss type deal, but protect ourselves from damaging further integration", which either option should really represent.

Sadly it will get much worse whatever the result. My only hope is we take the option which allows us to eventually overcome it and rectify it ourselves, which is out. Dictation by Brussels is a crippling, soul destroying alternative. 99 years and 51 weeks ago over 50,000 British men went over the top to their deaths at the start of the Battle of the Somme, a war we entered to enable the Belgians to keep their democracy, liberty and right to choose their own course. Tomorrow we have the very real possibility of voting away all of those things into the hands of the big business controlled bureaucrats in Brussels. How a century changes the outlook.

Just my view obviously.

For the still undecided, forget politics and politicians.
If you think people are people, whatever their colour, creed or nationality.
Don,t vote with anyone of a different view.
Remain!.

so if you vote leave you can't do any of that ?, thats not really true for eu swell is it. if your an indian doctor you might not be able to get in, but if you have no qualifications at all from the eu you can get in. Discriminating against people from outside the eu ( i.e. people of all colour, creed or nationality )

Haha, nice one Stu,but i know of lots of lads who have gone working in Spain, had a great time.
There is not too much that divides us,we are European!.
The masses are in the main, divided only by language.

Get the Spanish government on the blower. They'll be delighted to know that their crippling unemployment worries are over because a few of your mates got some work.

We are only divided by language and culture, which I don't see as a problem at all. However, I don't agree with them all moving here when we can't house, heal or educate them without reducing the services available to those already here.

It gets worse for David Cameron by the minute! Not only has EU president Junker completely shafted him with news that there will be no more EU reform, but now we have this:

Today we found out that the EU is opening new membership talks with Turkey on 30th June.

They timed that well.
It's so crazy arrogant. It just makes me distrust the EU. I see at regularly in relation to Ireland. From them leaking budgets to stating that we have no right to fund water through general taxation. Why make all these comments? I think it's because they genuinely don't care about what the Irish population or politicians think and because a lot of the EU is a cowboy junket so no one systematically controls what's said.

Best of luck tomorrow. And to those voting out...thank you! You just may save the rest of us. That is if the EU can use this "feedback" to change for the better.

OK we are at the pinnacle now, so think of this. What do we get different if we stay? More of the same? If that is so good why are we even having this debate?
The only way to change is vote out, its up to YOU.

We having this debate because Cameron wanted to make sure he won the election and tangled this carrot!;)...dont think be banked on the fall out it was going to cause!

Vote for change? Grass isnt always greener and many that vote out (not pointing this at anymore on here!) dont actually know what that change will bring to them or the country...they just dont want the EU to have a say on that change!

I personally think we have a strong economy today because of our connection with the EU, because of the trade deals we have etc,etc...I believe there is more positive than negative from being a EU member...yes, maybe we could have still been strong outside the EU today, on our own but thats a maybe that many dont want/cant afford to risk. Without this referendum, I believe most average working class people on the street, for most of the time, havent even given the EU a second thought in their day to day lives and......

This is where the leave campaign have done such a good job.....they not selling something you can see or smell or hear....they selling a hope, hope/dream that things "might" be better out than in.....I personally like the fact we are the 5th biggest economy today, while being in the EU and personally dont have an issue with the fact that after 30+ years of "freedom of movement" only 5% of the country is from the EU and I personally like the fact that millions of Brits have the freedom to live/work across europe today....For me(just a personal opinion) most of our problems we have(not all) are caused by this government and problems "we've" caused to our own country....so I'll be wanting change but I'll be voting for that change to take place at General election time...I just feel we need to stop blaming the EU for all our problems, otherwise we'll be voting out and be disappointed to find that many of problems we hoped would change for the better, are still there.......for example: immigration....nearly half of all our immigration are non EU....that has nothing to do with "freedom of movement"....for years the Government has offered jobs to overseas(non EU) people when they should be training and investing in the people here in the UK.....this is just one of many problems I have with this Government and Governments before it and it has nothing to do with the EU...

I understand that some have been hit harder than others by immigration or by EU red tape and if that has impacted that individual on a personal level, I completely understand that person voting out.....but voting for "pride in our country" or a "hope/dream" the world will be a better place if we out...doesnt make sense to me...I hear comments like we should "grow some balls" and "take charge"....sadly the economy doesnt run "on balls".....and I disagree, we cant keep our identity while being apart of the EU....you only needed to see the Queens Birthday celebrations (just an example) to see what it means to be British....being part of the EU hasnt taken anything away from what we stand for..

If someone feels their life is so bad while we've been in the EU, then I agree...you vote out but voting out for "change" sake....doesnt seem right! We all have different reasons for voting in/out and every vote is as important as the next.... but I just believe you need to vote for more than just "take control of your own problems"..I personally prefer to share mine!;) The UK government is not going to help you, if your boss has to close his/her business because they lose most of their EU customers, or when your house value drops 10-15% or when that family holiday is more expensive that you cant take the kids away.....none of these things might happened but they could, so vote out if you happy to risk it.....even today on the news, queues of people trying to buy their currency because they worried if we vote leave the pound isnt going to be worth as much and their holidays are going to cost more....I also heard today from someone that works for Lloyds, that there is rumours they are willing to move some of their offices out of the UK if we vote leave?? Again, might not happen but all these are very real issues that will affect the average working person on a day to day level, alot more than any EU regulation.....cheers and sorry for the long post!;)

Yes can,t disagree, the underfunding in our NHS is nothing short of criminal.
We,re told repeatedly by the outers, that we are the 5th richest nation.
What then does it say,for the fifth richest nation, that we have over 1 million using foodbanks.
We can,t look after the sick and disabled.
Centuries ago we had a window tax, people laugh, now a bedroom tax, another form of poll tax.
Vote for leave! Eton boys will love you!,you will confirm what they think.

some of the leaders are in the government and I assume the entire purpose of opposing remain is for them to exert some pressure on the govt from Friday onwards in the event of a win.................. or have they done it for a lark and don't expect a result either way to be binding?

I was answering the dumb question about Friday morning. Pure hyperbole to try to make what I assume someone thought was a relevant point. My point is that anyone who votes this issue on personalities is voting for the wrong reasons. You may think it is the right reason. I would disagree with you and trying to give a clever answer to a dumb question won't help.
