This whole referendum has been dominated by stats but ultimately I think it's people's instincts that will win the day as your latest stat proves you can't trust stats....didn't Peter rei squeeze gascoignes nuts in a game at Maine road ?
 
Can anyone tell me that I will have to pay a charge for cycling on Dutch cycle paths if we bugger off from the collection of Johnny Foreigners collectively known as the EU? It's not the recession, world war, rising/falling house prices that would bother me - it's the continuation of free and unfettered access to the 'knoppunten' that would swing me from voting for both in and out, to a steady in!

Yep. You weren't wrong at all on your premise before. I was just pointing out that B, R and even C are struggling. (One can't put ANY belief in the figures China puts out as its a 'managed' economy and says what it wants).

Having said that China used more concrete in 2000-10 than the US used in the 20th Century. Always makes me say wow when I think of that.

But how about we remain with our neighbors to ensure a better Europe for everyone. Not run away and potentially risk the break up of Great Britian. If other country's in the EU are struggling we as a rich nation help likewise they would help us. We fought to help our allies. Not to distance them away from us. The EU has become to buerocratic and yes it's not ideal at times. But come on it's really not that bad!!!! We do control our laws, we have kept our currency, we do control our health care, we have tightened up on immigration benefits (more needs to be done on this).Yes there's plenty more work to do. But opting out now is a weak backwards position and it's a fantasy to think we will go back to a age where everyone was English and all was rosy.
- Lets fight to keep Europe working, let's fight to keep the peace , let's fight to keep Britain!
Let's face it in 50,70,100 years time there will be no borders , everyone will be free to live where they want in this world and everyone will be integrated by colour, religion and nationality. That's what humanity HAS to strive for. That should be a future we all want. Not building walls, turning backs and having a attitude of 'I'm alright Jack' - It could be us that breaks up the EU and Britian with the trade and the economy suffering as a result. That is a GREAT shame. All for what ?! So those pesky immigrants/refugees striving for a better life don't get in ? Pah !

I'm no nationalist. I'm an outer because I believe the EU is a dysfunctional organisation that has gone way beyond what most people thought it would be. It's inward looking and doesn't help the countries that are part of its membership. It mainly serves the interests of the Germans and the banks, as well as the corrupt politicians and officials that run it. Cameron lacks the power or ability to reform it and, anyway, it doesn't want to be reformed.

A vote to leave will kickstart the process to return it to what it should be as we won't be the only ones doing it.

Europe and the EU are two separate entities. Even if we leave the EU we'll still be part of NATO and other organistations that protect our security. The Intelligence Services will still work with their European counterparts. We'll still be subject to the European Court of Human Rights, which isn't an EU instituion (unlike the ECJ). We'll still be a signatory to the numerous international treaties we've signed that are comoletely separate to any that we signed in the EU. We'll negotiate some sort of trade agreement with them but we'll also be free to negotiate agreements with any of the major trading countries like the USA, China, Japan & India that don't have free trade agreements with the EU.

By imposing austerity and running Europe essentially for their own benefit the Germans have made the EU better for them but not for the Greeks or the 40% of Spanish young people who are unemployed.

You don't seriously believe we'd be voting to leave if we thought the EU was a force for good do you? We've asked for some changes to reflect our concerns and were shown the middle finger. This organisation has imposed misery on millions of fellow Europeans in the pursuit of a political project and the pro-European thing to do is to vote Leave.

Exactly vote leave for a better less regulated Europe for all. Where nations people and companies cooperate with each other not be dictated and regulated centrally....
